My Background

I have worked as a recruiter specialising in Supply Chain and Procurement in Singapore and South East Asia, and have successfully placed mid to senior level management in leading organisations. My experience has given me a great deal of insight into the industry and a strong network of clients and candidates in the region.

I like to develop relationships with my candidates and help them through the entire job-seeking process. This not only gives me a great sense of accomplishment but also helps in maintaining a large pool of talent who can fit well into the variety of roles that I work on. 

I strongly believe in communication being the most crucial part in the recruitment process, and I am an advocate of transparency and exchange of information between the candidates and clients in all stages of hiring.

I specialise in recruiting for the Supply Chain and Procurement Divisions across all sectors and industries in South East Asia covering purchasing, logistics, planning, supply chain management and external manufacturing.

Outside of Ambition

Outside of work, I am a keen sports player and am pretty handy with a badminton racket and a basketball. I like hanging out at the beach, traveling, and exploring other cultures.

Meet Daniel

Daniel Ong

My Background

Having taken up a career in recruitment right after graduation, I was initially attracted to the opportunity to learn valuable relationship-building skills through my dealings with all sorts of people – from fellow colleagues and bosses to clients and candidates. Being rewarded for hard work put in makes it even better!

Roles I recruit For

I specialise in recruiting for IT Infrastructure, Application Support, DevOps/SRE, and Cloud Engineering roles across all industries. These positions range from mid to senior level.

IT continues to be an ever-changing environment and I enjoy dealing with a broad range of roles that didn’t exist in the past. It’s challenging but exciting.

Outside of Ambition

I hit the pool, run track, the outdoors, and going to the gymnasium for training. This allows me to maintain my fitness level since I am quite a competitive athlete and is a great way to de-stress and relax my mind after a long day of work!

​Daniel is a reliable recruitment partner. When given a role, he has consistently delivered suitable candidates. While he is an IT contracting specialist, we have also successfully filled other roles through him as he is able to listen to the requirements in a job brief and take it onboard.
